Advice and Safety – Swedish
- The course qualifies for work in a team under the supervision of security personnel.
- The aim of this course is for participants to be familiar with working methods and their risks in the rail environment.

- The course qualifies for work in a team under the supervision of security personnel.
- The aim of this course is for participants to be familiar with working methods and their risks in the rail environment.
BASÄVISTA
- The course qualifies participants to be in rail environment unsupervised, though not to perform any form of work.
- The aim of the course is for participants to gain the knowledge required in order to avoid exposing themselves or others to rail hazards and to act accordingly.
basäskydd
- The course qualifies participants to work as a Rail Safety Manager.
- If the course is followed by an approved health examination according to BV FS 2000:4, the course also provides the qualification required to become a lookout in a rail environment.
Safety and Security planner
- The course qualifies participants to work as a Safety and Security Planner in a rail environment.
- The aim of the course is for participants to gain qualification to plan safety work in a rail environment.
- The length of the course depends on participants’ experience and previous training.
basätsm
- Prerequisites – BASÄSKYDD.
- The course qualifies participants to work as a A-, L- or E-inspector according to Swedish Transport Agency regulations or as a traffic guard on roads in the rail environment.
- The course can be supplemented by applying system E 2 (ERTMS).
basäfärd
- Prerequisite – BASÄTSM and electrical safety training according to Swedish Rail Administration regulation BVF 922.
- The course does not result in authorisation, but is simply a step towards further training as safety inspector shunting/working transports or driver.
basäfärdtsm
- Prerequisite – BASÄFÄRD.
- The course results in authorisation as a safety inspector shunting/working transports and the ability to carry out inspection, brake tests and combining turnout/block driving methods.
